										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Tilahun Tassew has an MA in Development Studies from the Institute of Social Studies (The Hague) and a BA in public administration minoring in sociology and anthropology from Haile Selassie I University.</p>
<p>He is a writer and consultant. His first novel (አዳባይ Adabay) was published by Kuraz Publishers in 1882. Most of his novels are based on the anti-Fascist patriotic struggle of 1935-1940 and the post Second World War situation in Ethiopia. His first English novel ‘Trying Times’ was published by Shama Books in 2011. Recently, Two years ago he wrote two history books in Amharic about the first and second Ethio-Italian wars. His recent book titled “Menelik II: The Military Strategist And Diplomat Who Changed the Course of History” was published by Kuraz Publishers.</p>
<p>Other than writing on historical issues he has authored books dealing with the impact of nanotechnology on reorganization of society and industrialism, industrial society and world governance.</p>
<p>He is also the founder and General Manager of the consulting and training firm ‘TTMC Pvt. Ltd. Co&#8217;. He has a rich experience in organizational development assessment and designing long and short term strategic plans, performance management schemes, salary and benefit schemes, job descriptions and position classifications in an interactive and participatory way. He has led a team of experts in conducting baseline and impact evaluation surveys and development of business plans for big organizations like Ethiopian Roads Authority and private enterprises like Bless Agri Lab PLC. He has developed the following training and coaching manuals in use by TTMC. (i) TMC’s Strategic Planning and Management Training Manual (ii)TMC’s Internal Good Governance and Social Accountability Standards and Monitoring Tools (iii) TTMC’s Result Based Performance Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Remuneration.</p>
