Description

Lana Schwartz is an Ethiopian American poet and advocate, born and raised in Seattle, Washington. At just 20 years old, Lana has already touched the hearts of many through her deeply introspective and heartfelt poetry. Her writing reflects her personal journey through struggles with self-esteem, body image, and the pressures of growing up, especially as an introverted young woman navigating complex emotions.

Lana’s debut poetry collection, “‘Hi Lana’: A Journey Through Love, Loss, and Healing”, was born out of her desire to support and connect with other girls who feel alone in their struggles. Drawing from her own experiences, including overcoming an eating disorder and learning to embrace self-acceptance, Lana’s poems offer a comforting reminder that no one has to go through life’s challenges by themselves.

Her work is dedicated to fostering community and resilience, reminding readers that healing is possible and that their stories, like hers, are worth sharing. Through her honest and empowering voice, Lana hopes to inspire others to find strength in vulnerability and to celebrate the beauty of their own journeys.

When she’s not writing, Lana enjoys dancing, painting, and spending time with her loved ones.
