Dr. Yirga Gelaw Woldeyes is an Ethiopian-born writer, researcher, poet, and academic who serves as the Director of the Centre for Human Rights Education at Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia. Originally from Lalibela, Ethiopia, his work bridges creative writing and radical academic research, focusing heavily on African traditions, epistemic justice, Ethiopian philosophy, and decolonial education.
